Sport: 

• The tournament will include four levels (beginner, recrea-chill, recrea-comp and competitive) – so no matter your level, you are welcome!
• Sloterparkbad has 2 pools we will play in, tribunes for the fans to watch the games, and a café area to rest and relax. 
• The tournament will include two full days of waterpolo (from morning to late afternoon) on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November.
• More information will follow on the number and composition of the teams, schedules of the games, and other relevant rules. 
• We will be inviting our Amsterdam friends – local non-LGBTQ+ clubs we often play with – to participate in the competitive level.

Tickets & registration: 

• Each club has been required to provide the number of teams they wish to join with.
• As a participant, you must sign up individually. You will be asked for which team you’re playing with when purchasing your ticket.
  • If you are a member of a European LGBTQ+ Waterpolo club, you must first discuss with your captain and know your team before registering.
  • If you are not a member of any of the European LGBTQ+ Waterpolo clubs, select “Individual Entry”  and we will get in touch with you.
• Bringing a +1? You can purchase the Social Splash Pass which included access to the pool as well as lunches, coffee and drinks and snacks just like any other participant. For the Friday and Saturday evening programmes, please purchase additional +1 tickets separately on the ticketing platform.
• Don’t forget to buy our fantastic tournament swimwear and the Amsterdam Waterproof calendar!

Socials: We all know the magic of tournaments happen just as much in the pool as on the dance floor. Amsterdam Waterproof is organising a range of social events during the tournament. If you’re an athlete, access to all events is included in the registration. For +1s, separate tickets are available to purchase.

• Registration event on Thursday 19 November. 
• A Friday dinner and party with all of our waterpolo community.
• A Saturday party combining the European LGBTQ+ Water Polo and Volleyball communities into one giant celebration. Our balls look similar, so why not mix on the dancefloor? 
• A Sunday brunch to close the weekend (to be confirmed)

Accommodation: 

We recommend booking hotels as early as possible. Consider hotels near the pool location (in Nieuw-West, Osdorp areas) for more affordable options.
