En agressief is het zeker niet!De beginnerscursus is voor iedereen die van water(sport) houdt, al redelijk kan zwemmen en graag eens wil proberen hoe het voelt om waterpolo te spelen. We laten we je kennismaken met de sport en we leren je de ‘basics’ zodat je daarna met plezier en vertrouwen met de andere leden kunt meetrainen… als je besluit lid te worden.
We vragen van jou als deelnemer dat je al redelijk kunt zwemmen (tenminste 1 baan borstcrawl) en we vragen om commitment. Daarnaast heb je alleen een zwembroek/badpak nodig en we raden je aan om een zwembrilletje en paar slippers mee te nemen.
De volgende cursus zal plaats vinden op zes (6) vrijdagavonden – waarschijnlijk in het voorjaar van 2023 – om 21.00 uur, direct na de reguliere training van Waterproof. Je kunt daarna nog wat drinken in de bar van het zwembad en meteen kennis maken met de leden van Amsterdam Waterproof.
De locatie is het Sloterparkbad in Amsterdam. De kosten bedragen 60 euro. Je krijgt korting op het lidmaatschapsgeld als je na afloop van de cursus besluit lid te worden van onze club. Meer informatie of alvast aanmelden, stuur een e-mail naar info@amsterdamwaterproof.nl.

The beginners course is for anyone who likes water (sports), can swim reasonably well and would like to try out what it feels like to play water polo. We will introduce you to the sport and teach you the ‘basics’ so that you can train with the other members with pleasure and confidence… if you decide to become a member.
We ask the participants that you can already swim reasonably well ((one lain of freestyle)) and we ask for commitment. In addition, you only need a swimming trunks/bathing suit and we recommend that you bring swimming goggles and a pair of flip flops.
The next course will be on 6 Friday evenings – probably in Spring 2023 – at 9 PM, right after Waterproof’s regular training. You can stay for a drink afterwards and you will immediately get to know the members of Amsterdam Waterproof.
